Well, here is my second writing for #iralutse_creative.
Strangely enough, it’s a letter again. And again, I looked for inspiration in a book. While the prompt on a “no-homework-I’m-sorry” student swung my sail towards “Daddy Long Legs” (don’t ask me why, just out of the blue), this time my mind set on some soppy teenage love story – exactly the right place to look for “suffering-and-hardships” and “I-want-to-break-free” vocab. This is what I managed to come up with.
Dear Mr. Bean,
I am writing to inform you that I will be resigning from my current position in this godforsaken dump of a company I have been unfortunate to have been a part of. My last working day will be today.
My tremendous efforts to utilize my professional skills remained unclaimed, and I am far from feeling inclined to tolerate such treatment any longer.
I am totally convinced that you have been fully aware of how much I have been holding in me, thus this notification is highly unlikely to surprise you. All I want is to break free from the chains I have been dragging for a considerable while.
I shall not thank you for having me as your punching bag.
Dear Mr. Bean,
I am writing in a desperate hope to soften my outrageous remarks which you might have received yesterday.
I am begging you to take into consideration how long I have humbly been your most loyal servant. Obviously, my most recent frustration with my performance at work left me completely drained and caused temporary alterations in my consciousness which, in turn, drove me to writing that horrible letter.
Could you please kindly inform me how dire the consequences of my moment of madness might be?
